More Than A Woman - Wellness & Sister Circle

About the Event
These sessions are a simple, powerful and effective way for women to learn from each other by sharing real-life stories and issues.
Every session of More Than A Woman is unique and different, as they are co-creations of whoever is in the space.
The evening brings together a diverse set of women who work through issues, share ideas and challenge perceptions in a trusting, supportive and safe environment.
The sessions are about appreciative inquiry and reflective learning so we create a path to solutions rather than offering advice or judging what is being said.
Women share or discuss real-life stories and issues that are often complex, multi-layered, are open-ended in nature and do not have a right or wrong answer. By listening and thinking together during the session, it creates the continuous and harmonious act of learning.
Storytelling is the fastest route to true human connection and influence. Sometimes in order to process our thoughts more fully, we need to step away from the situation and think about it in another context and storytelling gives you the opportunity to do just that, as it allows you to open it up to new perspectives.
The transformative sessions create great clarity of thought if everyone comes with an open mind, is able to listen and to explore ideas through questioning, reflection and evaluation. By the end you will reach a deeper understanding of the issues we face as women, to make effective change in our lives and face the challenges of our existence.
Every woman has her own unique issues and challenges so the benefits you take from the sessions are mainly defined by what you bring to the evening.
The emphasis is on learning from our experiences and then acting on that learning and improving our lives as a result.
These open sessions will run once a month so there will be more opportunities to take part. However, if you would like to be part of something more substantive there is the chance to join a closed group. These require a commitment to come together for either a half or full day over a period of at least six months. This encourages a deeper understanding of issues which cannot be undertaken in an open session. Please contact me if would like to be part of one at email@example.com or on the night.
The gallery’s vegan juice bar will be open and included in the price is either a regular smoothie, a tea or a coffee and some sweet treats. Please get in contact if you have any access needs or allergies. The cost also covers the investment of time and the space.
